Chef Lopéz has been on the ARAMARK Culinary Team since 1998.
A graduate of the Culinary Institute of America, Dan's culinary achievements include two consecutive Gold medals in the 2003 and 2004 ACE Challenge, ARAMARK's national culinary competition.
It is easy to see the influence of Dan's world travels on his food. His excursions to France, Italy and London are reflected in his daily menus.
Locally, Dan has commanded the kitchens of "Steak Frites", a French bistro, and the famous "Noho Star", an American bistro with an Asian influenced menu.
Most recently, Dan has brought his creativity and flair to corporate America's kitchens, pleasing the palates of executives of companies including McGraw Hill Publishers, Credit Suisse First Boston, Reuters America and Smith Barney's Citigroup.
